We create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for our staff as well as our guests which has resulted in many long term employees. We are a family salon and we are very proud of our team at The Cutting Edge.

We maintain a crew of talented individuals that are dedicated to the salon industry. They specialize in a variety of age groups and styles so that we can serve the entire community. With Redken's number one demi-permanent hair color and award winning permanent hair color line at their disposal, our Hairstylists can achieve the look you desire. We guarantee lasting results when followed by a customized Redken home care regimen. To ensure that we are versed in the latest styles and techniques we are constantly striving to improve our skills through training outside of the salon as well as courses that we run at the Cutting Edge. A commitment to developing your craft is important to us. We think this shows in our work.

A Bit About Us

	Amber Hairstylist ...has been in the industry for six years and at The Cutting Edge since the spring of 2010. She specializes in curly hair, taking the time to find the right products that will bring out hair's natural texture. Amber loves colouring, especially seeing the change from dark to blonde or blonde to the blondest you can be! She is excited to continue her hairstyling career and to meet new people.
	Candace Hairstylist ...has been with the Cutting Edge team since November 2011. She received her education through the Eveline Charles Academy and is looking forward to a successful career with the Cutting Edge. Candace has competed in competitions such as the Sassoon Student Cut & Color competition, as well has taken advanced cut and coloring classes, and business and customer service courses. Candace enjoys giving hair services that compliment each client that sits in her chair. Looking at suitability, personality, and lifestyle, she will give you the best hair service for your needs! Loving fun edgy cuts, and beautiful multi-dimensional colors, Candace is never scared of a challenge. Not only does Candace work as a hairstylist, she also is a dance instructor for children ages 3-17 , making her great with kids. Candace is very excited to grow her career with the Cutting Edge and can't wait to see you in her chair!
	Cylie Hairstyist/Nail Technician .... has been in the industry for five years and at The Cutting Edge since the spring of 2009. She has always had a passion to do hair and loves what she does. She specializes in medium to long hair and cutting layers. Cylie likes to discuss the hairstyle with the client to figure out exactly what is best for them. She also loves cutting men and childrens hair. Her goal is to have each client leaving feeling greatly satisfied with her work. In addition to being a stylist, she has completed her nail technician course and has been doing gel nails since July 2009. Cylie loves doing free hand art, coloured gels, sparkles, as well as french. She takes pride in having her clients love their nails. Cylie is always trying to learn new things and keeps updated by attending advanced nail courses to widen her nail menu. As of April 2011, Cylie will be certified in brow waxing and tinting. New clients are always welcome!


	Jessica Hairstylist ...has been in the industry for five years and with The Cutting Edge since June of 2011. Jessica is comfortable working with all hair types but truly enjoys ladies short bobs to pixi styles. She has an eye for detail and it showes in her work. "It's the detail that makes a cut your own" Jessica works five days a week, three of which are evenings to help accommodate clients when it is most convenient to them. She is always looking to take ne clients so call today and book your appointment today.
	Kayleigh Salon Coordinator ..has been in the service industry for six years and joined the Cutting Edge team in June 2010. She loves working with people and meeting new ones at the salon. Ask for her when calling to make your next appointment! She will be more than happy to assist you in booking your hair and esthetic services!
	Lindsay Hairstylist ... first started in the industry in 2005 and has been a part of the cutting edge since 2008. She likes to pay special attention to detail in all of her services and excels in mens haircuts as well as layering in long womens haircuts. Lindsay has taken many advanced coloring and cutting courses over the years and loves to apply the latest techniques on her clients. She encourages everyone to liven up their new haircut with a suitable color. Lindsay welcomes new clients and looks forward to meeting you.

	Lori Hairstylist ... is an Inter-provincial Red Seal Hairstylist/Cosmetologist. In the last 21 years I have gained a wide variety of knowledge and experience. I have seen the mullets, mohawks come and go and come back again as, hockey hair and faux-hawks! Razor cutting, dimensional color and texture waves and perms are all the services I do in the salon. I was owner/operator of my own salon for 10 years in Saskatchewan. I have always continued my education as a fashion concious stylist, and have taken color, cut and style courses with many leaders in the industry such as; Redken, Loreal, Big Sexy, Schwarzkopf, Sebastian hair and Wahl clipper courses. Tressa perming classes and Trucco makeup. Recently, I have been chosen by Redken NYC to be a Redken Artist and am currently training to be an educator for Redken NYC in the industry. 	Megan Hairstylist ...has been in the industry for over six years and with the Cutting Edge since the spring of 2010. She specializes in razor cutting and her own techniques of foiling and colours. She keeps up with education including a styling class in New York with every intention of going back one day to take classes with Redken. Megan has established a full clientele but is always willing to take new clients! (Currently on maternity leave.)
	Rachelle Hairstylist ... has been in the indutry since 2003. She enjoys everything about the hair industry, especially making people look great and feel good about themselves. She keeps up on her education by taking classes through Redken in Montreal to learn whats up and coming for the ever changing trends. Rachelle specializes in different color techniques to keep all of her clients current and up to date. She works hard to give each client a great experience and is looking forwards to seeing you in her chair!
